I feel like half of this list will get pushed back into the holidays. It's really hard for me to believe that Funimation would so suddenly release this much great new content in a single month. I sure would love to be wrong though!

I had a similar thought too. The August schedule represents a sea change from the last 5 or 6 release months. Something is up.

I have been admiring(!) the PVC figures from this show for what seems like forever, but I don't recall them calling it "Haganai" before. The original title was pretty long in Japanese; was this a shorter name for the States?

The Japanese title is Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai which means 'I Don't Have Many Friends', but in Japan it's commonly just referred to as 'Haganai' which I think is what Yomi Hirasaka originally came up with as an easier name to call the series. Sorta like how we call Ore no Imoto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai 'Oreimo'.

The crazy part being the "ha (written)/ wa (spoken)", "ga", and "nai" that make that up would be the equivalent to shortening a long English title to "The the not".

Mikeski:
I imagine your knowledge of the written/spoken confusion of titles has had you wondering at the ridiculousness of some series!
Robert and mikeski: thanks for your input. I was vaguely aware that "insiders" frequently shortened the titles to a nickname; it's all pretty interesting what they come up with!
Robert: what do you get in the "Limited" sets vs. regular price again? I'm guessing a higher-quality box or a trinket? Sorry to ask, as I think you covered this a while ago.

Unless it's listed differently, the Funi LE's typically include the nice chipboard box that either makes the LE packaging more desirable, or can be used to combine 2 half season sets into a single unit of box art.
