Queens Blade 3 Could Arrive Next Week... Maybe

As Allegro continues to get ramped up as Media Blasters new distributor to retailers, we've been working with them to try to get ETA's on come of these long time backordered MB titles. I was told today that old catalog inventory continues to arrive in their warehouse daily from Media Blasters, and will probably continue to do so for several weeks, so they are filling backorders as inventory becomes available.

Anyway, I was told today (by Mr. Anonymous) that Queens Blade 3 'might' be arriving at Allegro's warehouse shortly and 'might' even be arriving here as early as next week. Now, I take these Media Blasters things with a grain of salt these day, but maybe - just maybe, we might be shipping QB 3 before Christmas. Stay tuned...

As much as I'd like to see this show, I'm going to have to hold off until the BluRay release. I can't afford to double dip on shows, so I have to wait for the best version. It's a shame that, outside of a few exceptions, simultaneous DVD and BluRay releases are all but nonexistent in the anime industry.

At least you have vol.2 now. I've been waiting forever and Rightstuf still doesn't have QB vol.2 in stock... really, what do you have that they don't in order to get these in first? I should start ordering here more, at least for Media Blasters things... ;A;

Why would Brand X get it before we do? Are they supposed to be special? I think you answered your own question, but maybe it's because I bothered to stay on top of it with Media Blasters while Shawne was busy spending your money.

And that's why it's such a shame you don't get let in on Aniplex's stuff. If you want free shipping on Kara no Kyoukai, you're forced to buy it from Rightstuf.

Don't blame us for that, we wanted to carry all of AniPlex's US releases, but those fuck heads decided that they were going to keep those releases in their little Brand X / Bandai Store gangster circle and exclude everyone else. That way, there can be NO price competition on the releases what so ever and they can force US buyers to pay whatever they want. Garden of sinners for $400 bucks?! Are you kidding me? What a rip off. Since when do US fans pay Japanese prices? Want to shop for a better price? Too bad - where are you gonna go? No where. See, there again, Shawne makes everything think he is doing them a big favor by carrying those 'exclusives' while he laughs all the way to the bank. So sad.

I wasn't blaming you. I was simply expressing my disappointment in the fact that they only let Rightstuf carry their products. It seemed relevant to the conversation, as you pointed out yourself in the last sentence of your previous reply.

Clearly the entire subject makes me so angry it's difficult for me to speak rationally about it. I apologize if it gets me out of sorts. I cannot even discuss it in detail on the blog anymore; everytime I write about it publicly one of those company's sends me a letter threatening to get their legal team involved in some capacity, so it's a real sore spot over here.
