What We DON'T Do to Your Packages...

Sometimes all that high tech, high volume package moving equipment can work against you. Ships fast? Yes. Ships well? hmmmm... Here is a parcel at Amazon, and a great example of what WON'T happen to your package here at RACS:

Just imagine if that one had your Anime figurine order inside...uggg.

You know why this happens? Because they didn't put enough of those plastic air bags in the box to secure the item inside. Amazon and it's sellers are notorious for this. (You know what they had my husband's birthday present PS3 packed with? Nothing. In a box twice as a large as the item. ~_~; )

Why is this guy watching the poor box? At least pick the box up. *cries*

I am skeptical that this is an Amazon.com box. Every Amazon.com box that I have received has their logo on it, quite clearly on the sides.

They also use just one mailing label, this box has a couple of labels on the top.

I can't pretend to know the ins and outs of Amazon.com's shipping facilities, but I am surprised that in three minutes nothing else came up the conveyor belt.

I will not argue that Amazon.com does sometimes have questionable packing methods. I received two monitors and a UPS that were packed similarly to the PS3 mentioned by D2M.

The Amazon markings on the side of the box are perfectly clear in the video. The 2nd label looks like an electronic CN22 and indicates it's probably either an overseas or APO box shipment.

It's only high value items that they pack so horrible. All the cheap, sub-$50 items I've bought from Amazon have come in great packaging. (This is why I buy my high ticket electronics come from Newegg.com now. They know how to "handle" their items!)

APO packages get no respect! I was overseas for 4 years on a military base. Newegg.com and RACS where some of the only stores who put any thought into their packaging. ~_~;

An APO label?? As someone that has been stationed overseas, NOTHING gets us AD folks' goat than to spend money on an item, WAIT 1-2 weeks, only to open up the box and find the item BROKE!! >:0(

What I don't get is why this person just sat there and watched this for several minutes. I'd be pissed to receive this package.

This is one of the main reasons I don't buy from Amazon again. They already sent me broken CDs and smashed DVDs. I'm not kidding. I already found Robert as a good replacement. However I'm still looking for a store to buy movie soundtracks.
