Ugh...it feels like it's taking forever and a day for FMA: Brotherhood to finish. I've been holding off on watching it until the entire series releases.

On a side note, have you heard anything about Funi getting rid of their terrible BluRay/DVD combo pack packaging? If Spice and Wolf 2 ships in another crappy DVD box I am not going to be pleased... When will Funi learn that BluRay costumers don't want dated looking DVD packaging? It's beyond frustrating.

I had a customer the other day who was confused because he had a BD player, thought he had a 4 disk set, and could not figure out why the same epsiodes were repeated on the 2 disks in each pack. I too wish they would use multi-disk BD packaging for these releases.

I have to disagree with you MARI0, I got the higashi no Eden combo pack and it was great, if you are bringing it to an anime con, you have more disks to sign on, at least thats my opinion, and nope, no news on FUNI getting rid of the combo packs.

I don't really get what you're trying to say Jen. I'm not annoyed by the combo packs. I'm annoyed by the packaging of the combo packs. It's DVD packaging, for a BluRay/DVD combo pack. That's not the industry standard for combo packaging. Combo packs typically come in BluRay cases. It makes Funi's new sets look dated and cheap. And for people like myself who like to separate their BluRays and DVDs onto their own shelves, it basically forces me to throw my new BluRay sets into the my dated DVD collection, or have them look completely out of place on my BluRay shelf.

Yeah, it's a trivial at best problem in the grand scheme of things. And I'm sure most people don't care either way. But that doesn't change that it annoys me. A lot. Especially since Funi made such a big deal early this year about improving their packaging for first print runs of their new releases (starting with Black Butler), and yet I feel that they have actually gotten worse with their packaging instead.
