I really wish that NISA would do a dub for this show. It's one of the few sub only releases that I caved and purchased, as Toradora was a show that I just had to see. And it was indeed amazing. But man, I would kill for a dub, and would gladly double dip at full price if it happened. Hell I'd pay a couple hundred dollars for a dub release of this show. That's how badly I want it.

I would have too, and I've talked to the folks at NIS extensively about sub vs. dub. I had always felt that the price point of the premium editions supported a dub, but when you look at the actual nationwide unit sales volume of these titles you can easlity understand why they have stuck to subtitled only releases. The production cost of a dub can easily be 4x or 5x that of a sub release. Studios like Funimation offset the risks and the cost of dubs with massive volume. So it's not that NIS is ignoring the dub market - it's just that the market is really not supportive of that level of investment in these titles. There are VERY FEW fans who would pay a couple hundred dollars for ANY Anime series these days. I hear bitching every business day about the high cost of entire dubbed seasons at $45.
