Notes: Hetalia has been moved into Dec from Oct. The Is this a Zombie? set has been added back to Dec after being previously removed from the July schedule. The Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor and the Seven Mortal Sins economy editions have been added back to Dec after being previously removed from the Sept schedule. Also, for Nov the combined Blood Blockade Battlefront + and Beyond (Season 1&2) BLURAY FN-01994 has quietly been removed and we have removed it from the store site.
A lot of people have been speculating lately on the reasons why so many Funi titles seem to get delayed. For instance, where the Berserk Complete edition is I have no idea except that we probably aren't getting it this year. Other date changes are not so mysterious. Anime sales are surprising seasonal, for example, fans tend to buy a lot of Anime in November and March, but not so much in June and September. The studios know this and try to schedule accordingly. Sometimes they look at pre-order numbers and decide to jocky key releases into more favorable sales periods, like during the holiday season. That's probably what happened with Hetalia here. Sometimes, and this goes for the complete editions, they aren't able to clear out the old inventory quickly enough and delay the new version to give retailers more time to get those old sets sold, or just cancel them outright and put resources elsewhere. Rarely, but sometimes are release sells so poorly in pre-order it just gets canceled, or get rescheduled as a different SKU at the different, usually lower, MSRP.
